DrinkKnird (https://drinkknird.com) is operated by iScream Studio, Inc. The site publishes home cooking and drink content for readers who want clear methods and careful sourcing.

Recipe origins and testing

Recipes are labeled by origin when evidence supports it. From The Knird means Chris’s own ingredients, methods, and notes. Researched recipes are developed from published specifications or secondary sources and state the approach (classic specification, adaptation, or researched formulation). Uncertain legacy recipes stay unclassified until confirmed. We do not invent kitchen-testing claims; researched pages that have not been tested here say so near the sources section.

Affiliate independence

Some pages include optional product or tour links. Affiliate relationships do not decide recipe formulations, origin labels, or testing status. See the affiliate disclosure for how those links work.

How articles are made

Some articles may use automated or AI-assisted research and drafting to gather sources and organize drafts. Important factual claims are checked against reliable public sources before publication. We do not invent culinary credentials, awards, lab tests, or staff titles. History and origin pieces prefer museums, archives, newspapers, libraries, and established culinary historians; when accounts conflict, we say the origin is disputed rather than forcing a neat answer.

What we avoid

We do not publish empty category pages, thin city directories, or keyword-stuffed filler. Recipes and guides should be useful for home cooks—not generic template dumps. Calculators and tools are practical utilities, not advertising shells.

Food safety

Food-safety guidance prioritizes authoritative sources such as USDA and FDA publications. When sources disagree or guidance is incomplete, we say so rather than inventing certainty. Egg-based drinks and poultry recipes should stay consistent with cooked or pasteurized guidance where those sources apply.

Events and trends

Food-event and trend coverage prefers primary sources and established food press. Thin directory-style listings and unsupported trend claims are left out.

Corrections

If you spot an error, send details through the contact form. We review corrections and update pages when warranted, including accurate modified dates when content genuinely changes.
